Jama HR Express is proud to support MTU Maintenance Canada, a global leader in commercial aircraft engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), in hiring a Customer Account Manager for its Engines Division in Delta, BC.
New and recent engineering graduates are also encouraged to apply. Following our recent discussion with the MTU hiring team, they are open to considering engineering graduates and early-career professionals who may not yet have extensive aviation/MRO experience but have a genuine passion for aviation, aircraft engines, and what MTU does, along with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing customer relationships, operational coordination, financial oversight, and aviation-focused problem-solving within a fast-paced MRO environment.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary customer point of contact throughout the engine maintenance and repair lifecycle
- Monitor engine shop visits, costs, invoicing, and turnaround times
- Ensure customer requirements and contractual obligations are met
- Coordinate closely with engineering, operations, logistics, and finance teams
- Support forecasting, work-scope coordination, and operational planning
- Organize engine transportation and customer on-site maintenance activities
- Provide structured customer updates and support invoice dispute resolution
- Support AOG and customer service requirements as needed
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field
- For experienced candidates, 3–5 years of experience in customer support, account management, engineering, aviation operations, or a related technical environment
- New/recent engineering graduates are welcome to apply, particularly those with a strong interest in aviation and aircraft engines
- Aviation, aerospace, airline, MRO, or aircraft engine experience is a strong asset, but MTU is also open to developing the right early-career engineering candidate
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving operational environment
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
- SAP experience considered an asset
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and comply with Controlled Goods Program requirements
