Jama HR Express is hiring Aircraft Maintenance Engineers – Avionics (AME-E) for a leading
aerospace and defence contractor. This company provides long-term aircraft support for OEMs,

In this role, you will perform aircraft maintenance, repairs, and overhaul in the area of Avionics,
ensuring safety, accuracy, and compliance while mentoring junior technicians.
This bargaining unit position follows a Collective Agreement.
Due to Controlled Goods clearance requirements, only Canadian Citizens or Permanent
Residents will be considered.
Major Responsibilities & Duties
– Strive to consistently act in a manner that reflects the company’s culture and values.
– Perform all work tasks and ensure all repairs, modifications, and inspections are
completed in accordance with customer check packages, Transport Canada Regulations
(CARS), Technical Airworthiness Manual (TAM), Quality Control Procedures (QCP),
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Process Standards (CPS).
– Ensure all documentation, reporting, and associated paperwork are completed accurately.
– Provide coaching and leadership to junior technicians to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and
skill development.
– Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
– Maintain workplace conduct aligned with HR, attendance, safety, and security policies.
– Perform other related duties as required.
Core Skills
– Strong communication skills (fluent written and verbal English).
– Basic computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
– Solid knowledge of avionics systems, aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification.
– Ability to maintain approved standards of quality control.
– Commitment to safe work practices and techniques.
– Basic coaching and leadership abilities.
Education & Experience
– Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Avionics) from a Transport
Canada–approved program (or equivalent).
– Minimum 48+ months of experience performing AME duties.
– Holder of an AME-E license or recognized equivalent.
Compensation & Benefits
– Salary range: $38.58/hr – $44.73/hr.
